Not sure where to start? Here are some answers to frequently asked questions that can help you move forward.
What is Coaching?
Coaching is an inquiry-based, action-oriented change process, designed to increase awareness of a Client’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in order to bring about desired improvements in leadership efficacy, organizational productivity, and/or personal success
How do brand strategy and coaching work together?
The brand and communications strategy is not just a set of guidelines. It's a powerful tool that sets the tone for a company's internal culture, influencing how employees interact and work. This, in turn, directly impacts how the company is perceived by customers and partners.
When we develop a brand strategy, we help the team define who they are and why their services uniquely address a problem better than anyone else.
A brand strategy consists of a company's purpose, mission and values, which are the true differentiators that set great companies apart. In fact, more than ever customers seek to trust and respect who they give their business to. The brand strategy is the character of the business.
My work is to help businesses and organizations clearly articulate their character in their marketing, digital presence, overall brand experience and culture.
How do I start?
The good news is, that you have already begun the process if you're reading this question! Set up an appointment here, and let's meet to discuss a coaching plan.
Self-agency is mentioned as a pillar of your practice. Why is self-agency so important?
Self-agency—the ability to take responsibility for our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and consequences and the courage to change undesirable circumstances by changing ourselves. In that case, we’ve exponentially elevated the playing field. Self-agency recognizes one’s internal power, responsibility, and ability to impact others positively. The opposite of self-agency is giving our power away through shifting the blame or using force to get back what we frivolously gave away. Such blunders undermine the organization’s potential. Power creates change. Force creates a counterforce that keeps us in gridlock. To navigate turbulent times and life's perpetual uncertainty, we must first identify what is within and outside our control. This discernment is critical and a skill that can be learned and honed.
Can we have our first meeting on Zoom?
Ha! I am committed to in-person coaching and L & D, but I am not delusional :) Certainly, many of our meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions and brand strategy work will be held online. However, the overall commitment I invite to our engagement is to provide the necessary in-person meetings and workshops to elevate vital social connection points, creativity, and elevated resonance through synchronicity.
What is Brand Strategy?
A well-crafted brand strategy is a crucial component of any successful business. It involves developing a comprehensive plan that outlines the steps needed to build a strong brand and achieve specific goals. This includes identifying the target audience, defining the brand's unique value proposition and messaging, and selecting the most effective channels to reach and engage with customers. With a solid brand strategy in place, a business can differentiate itself and uncover the unique value proposition that serves the greatest good.
Do you provide in-person coaching?
Yes, in-person is preferred. Leaders and managers face challenges from the digital veil that threaten culture, innovation, and the synergy found in physical collaboration toward a common goal.

As a brand strategist, former tech entrepreneur, corporate wellness advocate and coach, a company’s purpose, mission, vision, and values are its beacon. When working with companies, I emphasize brand strategy fundamentals. Leadership must embody these principles; otherwise, tasks and goals become superficial, keeping employees busy but unproductive.

Working from home and excessive screen time create a social desert, lacking human connection. Four years after COVID lockdowns, businesses and institutions feel the effects of limited live interaction.

I’m not advocating a return to the 9-5 office model, but we must allow for live teamwork to bridge communication, innovation, and collaboration gaps.

My solution is live, in-person workshops for team building, learning, and development. Let’s rekindle the spirit that makes ordinary teams extraordinary – we’ve got a lot of work to do, in person!
How do I know if you're the right coach or consult my team?
I specialize in working with teams that have ambitious goals and a desire to elevate their organizational objectives in a way that is transformative. I work best with leadership teams who are focused on fostering self-agency for themselves and their employees and therefore willing to do what is necessary to influence positive change.
How do you approach leadership team coaching?
Generally, with team-focused coaching, I provide an assessment for the primary stakeholders/ leadership. The assessment helps validate and surface priorities and a coaching strategy.

The assessment is structured in a way that informs areas of improvement, team strengths, unconscious drivers, and blind spots.
What do you charge?
My engagements with organizations and teams requires an investment equivalent to the change you want to see in your organization. The participation of leadership is critical. Sometimes this work aligns the right people with the organization and releases those who are no longer a fit. Weeding the garden of the organizational structure is a difficult and necessary process. The cultivation of the 10.0 version of your team also requires us to plant some new trees.
Therefore, the work assess, uproot, replant, and continue nurturing an organization blooming with potential is hard work.

Some people just want a pep talk or a motivational speaker to show up on the scene to check the social/community box on the HR requirements list.

But, just like going to the gym one day a month barely tips the fitness scale, the same goes for coaching.

The services I provide require customization and a series of engagements including assessments, leadership coaching, one-on-one coaching, and training. We will begin with a discovery meeting to assess goals, challenges, coaching expectations, and logistics. Book a discovery meeting here.
